HOW TO GET STARTED

In order to access RIDE COMMAND+ features, your Polaris Slingshot must fit or come installed with the 7" Display powered by RIDE COMMAND and RIDE COMMAND+ connectivity. Once installed and activated, RIDE COMMAND+ will be available for free for one year after which an annual fee of $99/year applies.

2020-2024 Slingshots

Select Slingshots that are pre-installed with RIDE COMMAND+ or have been upgraded to include the service, come with a free year of connected features, after which an annual fee applies. To activate this trial once connectivity is available, follow these steps:

 

  1. Create or sign into your Slingshot Account on the Slingshot app or RIDE COMMAND website.
  2. Using the same account information, sign in on your vehicle's 7" Display. 
  3. On your vehicle's display, toggle the Weather & Traffic feature ON. 

 

Connected services should now be active. Manage your free trial and RIDE COMMAND+ subscription by accessing your Garage within My Account.

Select 2025 or Newer Slingshots

Select 2025 Slingshots come pre-installed with a RIDE COMMAND+ Telecommunications Unit (TCU) that is an enhanced version of the connectivity platform. The TCU includes a free year of connected features, after which an annual fee applies, once the vehicle has been activated and completes a proof of possession process. To unlock the TCU and begin your free trial, follow these steps:

 

  1. Download the Slingshot App
  2. Log In or Create a Slingshot Account
  3. Add Your Vehicle to the Virtual Garage
  4. Visit the RIDE COMMAND+ Tab
  5. Complete Proof of Posession and Activate RIDE COMMAND+

Select 2026 Slingshots

Select 2026 Slingshots that come without an active TCU are able to connect to RIDE COMMAND+ via Bluetooth® tethering, which allows you to use a phone as a mobile hotspot to enable navigation-based connected features.
 
To Enable Blueooth® tethering for Apple and Android:
 
Apple:
1. On your phone, set up a personal hotspot by going to Settings > Personal Hotspot.
2. Tap Allow Others to Join
3. Open the Control Center on your phone.
4. Tap the personal hotspot icon to enable discovery to other devices.
5. Key on your Slingshot and pair your phone to the display by Bluetooth®.
 
Android:
1. On your phone, open the control center.
2. Touch and hold the hotspot icon.
3. Turn on Bluetooth® tethering.
4. Key on your Slingshot and pair your phone to the display by Bluetooth®.
